Bravo to whoever came up with the idea of nominating Bahrain’s first and only Jewish female lawmaker to be the Gulf kingdom’s ambassador to Washington. Huda Nono’s appointment would make Bahrain the only Arab country to send a Jewish ambassador to the U.S. Here’s hoping she makes it.
