Arabian Business’ Most Powerful Arab Women/Arabs in the World 2011

Arabian Business magazine recently compiled a list of 100 Most Powerful Arab Women 2011, which placed me at 51 and a list of 500 Most Powerful Arabs in the World, which placed me at 124.

It was interesting to compare the Arabic-language bio they’ve posted for me with their English-language one – quite different!

Miss Mona, what a woman you are!! Miss Lily Rajiah, who was your 10th, 11th & 12th grade teacher when you both were at the Manarat School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, saw you on the CNN News Show recently. She was quite impressed with seeing one of her former students making her mark in the world & said you always were quite spunky & is very proud of you. She would like to get in touch with you, via snail mail, since she is not computer literate. I have been her friend here in Jacksonville, Florida, where she now resides, for about the last 5 or 6 yrs. & after seeing you on CNN asked if I could possibly try to get an address wherever you might like her to send it if, at all possible. Lily is a remarkable woman of 74, still sharp as a tack & loves to hear from former students if at all possible. After seeing you on CNN & knowing what you are doing with your life & career, rest assured, you are in her prayers every day/night. God blesss you always & continue to give you the strength you need to do the good you are doing for the Arab women in their countries. P. S. I also am proud of you & the influence Lily must have had on you since you both are such strong women.May The Almight Lord continue to bless you & give you strength always. If you are able to receive this note please contact me via my E-mail address or Lily herself at: Sincerely, Marilynn Gracious.
